Ginger Hinchcliff
Ginger Hinchcliff is chief of the Learning Services Division for NOAA’s Office for Coastal Management. She recently served as chief of the Coastal Management Services Division for NOAA’s Coastal Services Center. Hinchcliff also served previously as manager of the Center’s Coastal Learning Services program and director of the National Marine Protected Areas Center Training and Technical Assistance Institute.
She originally joined NOAA’s Coastal Services Center in 1999.
Prior to joining NOAA, Hinchcliff worked with the Florida Department of Environmental Protection as the education and coastal training coordinator for the Rookery Bay National Estuarine Research Reserve. She also worked for the National Park Service and has taught marine biology and coastal ecology at environmental education facilities in Florida and South Carolina.
Hinchcliff holds a bachelor’s degree in recreation and parks, with a minor in marine sciences, from Penn State University, and a graduate degree in instruction and adult learning from Florida Gulf Coast University.
